Fit and sizing
Two sizes, two lengths.

How do I choose between The Ankle and The Crew?
The Ankle sits just above the ankle bone, a low profile for reformer and mat work. The Crew rises up the calf for more coverage and a layered look. Same grip, same fit through the foot.
Can I wear them for barre and yoga?
Yes. They’re made for Pilates, barre and yoga, on the reformer or the mat.
The grip
What it’s made of, and how to keep it.
Which grip socks have the best grip on a reformer?
Look for silicone that reaches your toe tips and climbs the back of your heel, on a sock that doesn’t twist. Most grip socks stop short of the toes and the heel. Ours has an elevated heel that carries silicone up the curve of the heel, and the silicone runs heel to toe and edge to edge, so every part of your foot that meets the footbar is covered. There’s more in the Journal: Which grip socks have the best grip on a reformer?
What makes Bodynam different from other grip socks?
Coverage. Most grip socks stop short of the toes and the heel. Bodynam runs a dense, tessellated silicone pattern across the entire footbed, heel to toe, and up the back of the heel.
How does the grip hold up over time?
The silicone is applied in a dense pattern that resists peeling and flaking. Wash cold, air dry, and it holds. We’ve tested ours through more than 80 studio sessions and counting.
What are they made of?
50% combed cotton, 25% nylon, 20% polyester, 5% elastane. Breathable, quick to dry, and built to keep its shape.
Is the toe seamless?
No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It’s a closed toe with a flexible toe area and a flat seam, so your toes have room to spread and grip.
How do I wash them?
Cold, inside out, in a mesh bag, then air dry. Skip the dryer, the bleach and the softener. The care page explains why.
Sets and studios
Building a collection, and bringing Bodynam to your studio.
How do sets work?
Choose two pairs and it’s The Duo. Three is The Trio. Five is The Quintet. Mix the lengths and the shades however you like, and your cart recognises the set on its own. No code needed. Build your collection.
Which shades do you have?
Every shade is on the Shades page. New ones join the lineup as they’re ready.
Do studios require grip socks?
Many reformer and barre studios do, for hygiene and safety. Ours meet studio requirements and stay put through the whole sequence.
I run a studio. Can I stock Bodynam?
Yes. See the wholesale page, or write to us with your studio name and location.
